Biosphere - Secret Thirteen Mix 54

Biosphere, el legendario proyecto de Ambient que vive cercano al círculo polar ártico y que desde la década de los noventas nos ha deleitado con excelentes discos de alta manufactura electrónica, ha realizado un tributo al recientemente desaparecido Pete Namlook, de quien dice "In 1992 the author of this mix listened to the works of Pete Namlook for the first time and it reminded some of the electronic music heard around 1979-1981. This music was an inspiration for the author [Geir Jenssen]to start making music, so this mix is a try to create an atmosphere similar to the mood of the album by Namlook." De esta manera, el vecino de la ciudad de Tromsø, cercanísima al Polo Norte, nos deleita con una combinación de clásicos en una dinámica bastante interesante. Me han gustado con especial interés los temas de throbbing Gristle, Chris and Cosey, Ryuichi Sakamoto y Billi Nelson.

Afortunadamente para nosotros la versión de este set está disponible en versión gratuita y, bueno, sin dar más detalles sobre la forma en que Geir Jenssen ha decidido rendir tributo al grandiosos Pete Namlook, me permito despedirme deseándoles una excelente noche. Me reservaré esta vez un análisis más detallado y simplemente me regodearé en las ondas que son pleitesía, un agasajo y pensaré en uno de los artistas más grandes de la movida electrónica.
