Las películas de David Lynch contienen un elemento sicológico muy fuerte. Esta película (que es más que nada un corto)es de la etapa más experimental en la filmografía del director americano y nos traslada hasta el lejano año 1974, donde el joven Lynch busca espacios donde dar rienda suelta a todas las ideas enfermas que su mente articula inconscientemente.
The Amputee es un corto crudo, directo y muy cotidiano, ojalá lo disfruten.
